While I was celebrating my first Yarn Bombing Day during FashionCamp, some other girls and ladies were doing almost the same (well, yes… they were knitting too and I wasn’t…) in Prato during one of the events organized within the UPrato initiative.
Betta Knit and Museo del Tessuto were among the organizers of the knitting in public event on June 9 in the Giardino Buonamici (Prato) where everyone had the opportunity to participate to a knitting evening, accompanied by refreshments in the beautiful park at the headquarters of the Province of Prato. Betta Knit provided also the UPrato kit, containing all the necessary that people need to make their contribution to the UPrato Banner.
Here you have some pictures taken during the event. For further information and if you want to take part to the Yarn Bombing Event on June 17th please visit www.uprato.it.
