Red is… confidence

March 12, 2012

Some time ago a famous food company asked me to give a definition of the colour red. I usually have an opinion about everything and I must admit it is never a problem for me to say it. But in that occasion it was different and I was speechless: the only thing that came to my mind was ‘Red is Love’.  Well, not really a brilliant and original answer.

But giving some attention to the last Paris catwalks, love or passion were not exactly the words that I would use to explain some red outfits that I really loved.

In Italy there’s a common saying which is something like ‘If you wear green clothes, you trust in your beauty’. I think the same about the reds: give a look around you and tell me how many women are dressed in red and how often you see someone wearing that colour. The answers would be probably: ‘few’ and ‘very rarey’.

So when I saw these outfits below I thought that women wearing them seemed to be more confident than other ones, maybe wearing black clothes. Don’t worry: black is always MY colour and THE colour, but red is simply beautiful and it’s able to give women a very special brilliant light, made of self-confidence and uniqueness.

A presto!
