During next Pitti Filati (July 1-3 2015) Feel the Yarn 2015 is going to show all the creations made by the 21 young designers coming from the most famous international fashion and design schools.

Feel the Yarn 2015 contest is supported and sponsored both by the mills you can find listed in this post and by other organizations, such as CELC Masters of Linen, the European Confederation of Linen and Hemp which promotes products made using European linen and certified Masters of Linen 100% Made in Europe.
Feel the Yarn allows students coming from the most famous international fashion schools to test their skills as well to promote them. At the same time the contest allows the mills to meet young knitwear designers and to establish new collaborations.
I already wrote about this year contest theme: Feel the Yarn and the students involved in the project will focus their skills on ‘Dual: Contrast or Fusion’. Now I’m happy to spread the word about the matches between students and mills.
