A sustainable and economic way to shopping

January 23, 2013

It is very easy to find secondhand and vintage shops outside Italy, while in our country they started to be known in the very few recent years. In Milan, now, you have a large range of places where to buy vintage clothes or where to find secondhand objects.

Here is my top three of these shops and markets:

  • Humana Vintage: located in the very centre of city, this shop sells vintage and secondhand clothes and accessories collected by Humana People to People Italia, a no profit organization which supports projects in the south of the world. Every week you can find more than 500 new arrivals;
  • Il Circo delle Pulci is an itinerant secondhand market where you can find both clothes and objects to be bought and where you have the possibility to be part of real shows and art performances;
  • Cavalli e Nastri is more than a secondhand shop, it is something like a place full of incredible surpises. Prices are not low, but clothes, accessories and objects are really great.
