Alessandra Roveda is a young designer who decided to put her passion for the knit and crochet together with her creativity.
Alessandra has recently been the author of Stranamaglia, an exhibition within Romammaglia inspired by Stefano Benni’s book Stranilandia.
She is often called to collaborate with designers (e.g. Agatha Ruiz De La Prada or Paola Navone) and artists to bring her manual work and her creativity within contemporary locations, contexts and themes which are usually considered far away from knitting or crochet. Putting together these two different worlds (knitting and modern locations) the results is always very interesting, creating very contemporary installations, but with a ‘demodè’ feeling.
