Day at the museum

March 23, 2012
Prato Textile Museum is Italy’s largest centre for the study, conservation and exhibition of historic and contemporary textiles.
What an inspiration from a place where creatives can find 6.000 items from pre-Christian times to the modern day.

Archeological textiles, ancient velvets and tapestry, embroidered fabrics dating back to the 15th century, all this came to a new life in “Feel the Yarn” participants’ minds today.

Apart from ghosts and spirits, indeed the collection of Prato textile mumeum may be another good source of inspiration for the Feel the yarn “nursery of talents”.
Let’s follow the thread for a check in the next weeks.
