I already wrote about this year contest theme: Feel the Yarn and the students involved in the project will focus their skills on ‘Dual: Contrast or Fusion’. Now I’m happy to spread the word about the matches between students and mills.

The students coming from Politecnico di Milano, Edoardo Faccin, Marta Mauri, Alice Bonatti and Susanne Vezzoli, will work, respectively, with Filmar, Manifatture Tessili Bresciane, Zegna Baruffa and CELC Masters of Linen.

Industria Italiana Filati will give their yarns to Chan In Ki from The Hong Kong Polytechnic. The other two students coming from HK, NG Siu Mui and Hung Tsz Ying have been assigned to Miroglio and Manifattura Sesia.

The Royal College of Art is going to participate with three students – Kirstie Eells, Hyun Kyung Oh and Mao Tsen Chang – who will collaborate, respectively, with Olivo, Cariaggi and Filpucci.

Ho già scritto un post qualche settimana fa sul tema del concorso Feel the Yarn 2015: gli studenti coinvolti dovranno focalizzarsi su ‘Dual: Contrast or Fusion’. Oggi sono felice invece di comunicarvi gli abbinamenti tra studenti e filature.

I ragazzi del Politecnico di Milano, Edoardo Faccin, Marta Mauri, Alice Bonatti e Susanne Vezzoli, lavoreranno, rispettivamente, con Filmar, Manifatture Tessili Bresciane, Zegna Baruffa e CELC Masters of Linen.

Industria Italiana Filati fornirà i suoi filati a Chan In Ki dell’Hong Kong Polytechnic. Gli altri due studenti di HK, NG Siu Mui e Hung Tsz Ying sono stati invece assegnati a Miroglio e Manifattura Sesia.
