Teresa likes one sentence from a famous painter René Magritte who said ‘An object can suggest that there are other objects behind it’. And this is probably the reason why she wrote, about the image below, that ‘This is not a bulb. This is not cotton’.
She has realized a series of works made with objects used for other purposes instead of their usual one: cotton yarn and painter brushes have become hair.
