Last Saturday I went to the MiArt, the International Art Fair in Milan. Every spring lots of contemporary and modern art galleries coming from Italy and from all over the world show artworks produced by their artists during this event, that lasts usually 3 or 4 days.
During my visit at the fair I tried to find some paintings, sculptures and installations made of yarn used as raw material. Well, I didn’t find a lot of them, but the artworks here below were absolutely some of the best ones that I could find.
The artist is Maurizio Anzeri who pads laces on old pictures to hide the faces of the people.
Always beautiful to be seen is the work by Alighiero Boetti, here below in one of the pictures I took during my visit.
