Elisabetta Scarpini, art director of the trend magazine Feel the Yarn – now in its eighth season – deals with fashion trends and works mainly as a photographer and stylist, collaborating with brands and designers. She has taken care of the image of many textile companies, especially in Prato and currently develops the Touch the Fabric project for Prato Trade. She has collaborated with some brands for the creation of graphics for printing and designed the H21 accessories collection for five seasons. From 1999 to 2003 she created the “Mem” trend book for men’s knitwear with Mem Studio. Over the years she has been involved in organizing exhibitions and cultural projects, including the international competition for new talents “Waltex Jazz Competition” in collaboration with the Egea record company, from 2008 to 2012. Finally she has published some books: “City, Prato 43 ° N / 11 ° E”, Nuova Libra Editrice, 2007, “Elisabetta Scarpini”, Pendragon, 2006 and “The moment after”, Nuova Libra Editrice, 2003. At the same time she continues her artistic research and has exhibited in numerous group and personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
